Royal Ascot Luxury Car Service; Chauffeur Driven Car to Ascot
When is Royal Ascot?
Royal Ascot is held after the Epsom Derby in June
Attracting many of the world's finest racehorses, and attended by racegoers from across the globe, including The Queen, Royal Ascot stands proudly as the quintessential highlight of the British flat racing calendar. This five-day race spectacular combines a fabulous day of pageantry, time-honoured tradition and first class racing at this fabulous sporting occasion.
The Royal Ascot meeting offers eighteen Group races, eight of them in Group One, and is Britain's most valuable race meeting with over £6.6milllion in prize money to be won.
How to get to Royal Ascot
Despite having its own train station with limited services running from London Waterloo, Ascot isn't the easiest of locations to get to when Royal Ascot is on. The train station is a mile or two from the course, and with such a busy meeting the concourse and journey can be heavily congested. Due to its proximity to London, which is just down the M4 motorway, the roads which feed into Ascot can also become heavily congested and pose a risk to your arrival time if prior planning of the route and journey time isn't made.
If you decide to drive to Ascot, you will need to factor in the cost of parking in addition to the cost of your ticket.
A private car service which collects you and your party from home and drops you off outside the racecourse is the preferred option for most as it allows you to enjoy the atmosphere without worrying about parking, travel delays or issues with trains. A luxury car to and from Royal Ascot also enables you to enjoy your day with a glass or two of champagne without the worry of driving home.
How to buy tickets for Royal Ascot
Whilst Royal Ascot is attended by the Queen each day you will not be able to attend the Royal Enclosure unless you are attending with a current Royal Enclosure member, a coveted membership built over four consecutive years of attendance upon the invitation of a current member. However, there are two alternative tiers of tickets available, with Grandstand and Silver Ring both offering a great view of the race course and Her Majesty's daily carriage ride up the racecourse to the Royal box.
