• What is the difference between our Gatwick taxi and our Gatwick luxury car service? Our Gatwick taxi service will get you to and from Gatwick Airport on time, in total comfort and with the assurance of being driven by one of our professionally experienced drivers. An upgrade to our Gatwick luxury car service will give you that extra level of style as well as comfort. Included in the price is complimentary bottled water, a newspaper and WiFi upon request, you have everything you need to enjoy the ride whilst your driver takes care of the rest.

• Is the online taxi price all inclusive? As well as the cost of your taxi from Gatwick Airport, the booking price includes 30 minutes waiting time from the selected time after landing, a complimentary meet and greet service inside the terminal and car parking charges.

• When making the booking do I need to know which Gatwick terminal I will be travelling to/from? We will need to know which terminal to take you to/pick you up from however, if you don't know this information at the time of booking we can book your transfer and confirm the terminal with you at a later stage. At Gatwick Airport there are two terminals; the North and the South terminal. They may show up on your ticket or booking reference as simply 'N' or 'S'.

• Do I need to know my flight number for my airport transfer? If you are looking to be collected from Gatwick airport, we will require your flight number in order to track your flight. We do this so that we can ensure that your driver arrives at Gatwick airport at the correct time. If you are not sure of your flight number at the time of booking, this can be confirmed closer to the date of travel.

• Do you charge extra if we need a child seat(s)? Child seats can be arranged and provided free of charge as long as you notify us when you are booking.

• If I'm being picked up at Gatwick Airport, where/how do I meet my driver? Your driver will have tracked your flight and will enter the terminal at the time you requested when booking. They will have a name board and meet you at our arranged meeting point in arrivals. If you are flying into the North Terminal, your meeting point will be outside Costa Coffee on the ground floor. If you are flying into the South Terminal, your meeting point will be outside Costa Coffee which is situated directly opposite the International Arrivals area. If you have any problems locating your driver, you can always call the office on 0208 240 4456.

• When will I meet my driver at Gatwick airport? At the time of booking, you will enter the period of time after landing that you would like the driver to enter the terminal at Gatwick airport. Your driver will track your flight, so even if your flight is delayed or arrives early, they will time they will be awaiting your arrival as you come through.

• How long after landing should I request the driver to enter the terminal? This depends on a couple of things such as whether or not you have luggage to collect. Many of our customers opt for 30 minutes after landing however, if you feel like you would prefer a longer or shorter amount of time please select at the time of booking.

• How and when do I pay for my Gatwick Airport transfer? There are two ways you can pay for your transfer to Gatwick - you can pay either by cash or by card. At the time of booking you will be asked for your preferred payment option. If you're paying by cash, this can be paid directly to the driver at the time of travelling. If paying by card, you can do this at the point of booking. If you select cash and then decide nearer the time that you would like to pay by card this isn't an issue just call one of the REAL operations team on +44 (0) 208 240 4456 who will be able to take payment details over the phone.

• When trying to book my Gatwick taxi transfer my pick up/destination point is not included in your system, how can I make a booking? If you are travelling to or from Gatwick, we can arrange all your transfer needs. If you cannot find your relevant pickup/drop off destination on our website this is not an issue just call 0208 240 4456 and speak to a member of our team who will happily book your transfer in for you. Alternatively, you can email us your transfer details/requirements at info@realtransfers.co.uk and we will respond accordingly.

• Do I have to book my Gatwick transfer in advance? If you are travelling to or from Gatwick, we can arrange all your transfer needs. If you cannot find your relevant pickup/drop off destination on our website this is not an issue just call 0208 240 4456 and speak to a member of our team who will happily book your transfer in for you. Alternatively, you can email us your transfer details/requirements at info@realtransfers.co.uk and we will respond accordingly.

• If my flight into Gatwick is delayed, will there be any extra charges? The price you pay includes, half an hour car parking and waiting time after selected time once flight has landed, you would have selected this at the time of your booking i.e. 30 minutes after flight lands plus 30 minutes included in the price, 60 minutes in total. Both our driver and operations team will always track your flight to ensure if the plane is not landing at the scheduled time they are aware - this avoids the driver entering the car park too early/late. Though we try to keep costs to a minimum if you come out longer than your booked pickup time which results in the driver having to wait longer than half an hour there will be an additional charge that you will need to pay to the driver directly.

• Can I get an online Gatwick taxi or Gatwick luxury car service quote? Yes – you can use our online booking system to get a quote for your journey. You will need to select the date, the time, the number of passengers and the vehicle (standard or luxury). • What do I do if I don't know my destination postcode? If you don't know the postcode of your pick up or drop off address just give us a call on 0208 240 4456 or drop us an email at info@realtransfers.co.uk and we will discuss a quote with you.

• What happens after I have made an online booking? Once you have made your booking you will be sent an email confirmation setting out all your transfer details - you then have all the information you need! If you want to check anything regarding your booking, if any of the details are incorrect or if you want to make any changes before your journey, call us on 0208 240 4456 or email us at info@realtransfers.co.uk and we will help.

• What happens if I haven't received confirmation and my transfer to Gatwick is imminent? Your booking email confirmation should come through immediately; if it does not contact the office on 0208 240 4456.

• Do you operate any time of day or night? REAL is open for business 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Our drivers are happy to carry out your journey any time of day or night plus our prices don't change depending on time of day (note: there is a surcharge on certain days over the Christmas and New Year period). Our office is also open 24/7 meaning that you can always contact us and speak to one of our friendly and professional team who will be able assist.

• Can I smoke in the car? REAL operates a strict no smoking policy, this means that smoking is prohibited in all of our vehicles.

• Do I get a receipt? Your booking confirmation will confirm your payment. However, if you need a receipt you can ask the driver and he will be able to provide you with one. Alternatively, you can email the office and we will be able to provide you with one.

• Is Gatwick the only airport you pick-up and drop off at? No – as one of the UK's premier airport transfer specialists, we arrange transfers from all of London's airports. • Do you offer a variety of vehicles to get me to Gatwick Airport? Yes, we are proud of our large fleet of modern, clean and well-maintained vehicles. We offer three different size of vehicles depending on the number of passengers travelling and the amount of luggage – both of these will need to be specified at the point of making your booking. • Booking from abroad? Our online booking system is fully mobile responsive, secure and easy to use meaning you are able to book wherever you are in the world. Alternatively, you can send us an email at info@realtransfers.co.uk and we can arrange your transfer – sending through your booking confirmation once completed. Finally, if you are able to call and would prefer to do so you can also contact us on 0208 240 4456.

• Does your Gatwick Airport taxi service include a meet and greet service? Yes – all our Gatwick taxi and executive car service pick-ups include a meet and greet service, with this service included in the price. Your driver will keep track of your flight, ensuring that they enter the terminal at the right time to be waiting for you as you arrive and help with any luggage you might have. We have specific meeting points at each airport. For Gatwick Airport, these meeting points are outside Costa Coffee at both terminals.

• Some company airport transfer charges are per person? All our charges are per vehicle and not per passenger.

• We would like to set up a corporate account do you have this option? Yes – corporate accounts is REAL's fastest growing business stream. • Do you provide a pick-up service from my home going to Gatwick airport too? Certainly – no matter where you live we will pick you up from your location and drop you off at either of Gatwick's two terminals.

• Is my booking reference proof of purchase or do I need anything else to show the driver? Booking email confirmation is proof of your transfer. This will show the details made at the time booking as well as the payment method type you selected i.e. cash, account or card. Your driver will have your details including your name and contact number in case they need to get hold of you. If you are being collected from the airport your driver will be waiting for you with a name board clearly displaying your name as you come through Arrivals – this will make it easier for you to find each other.

• I completed my online booking, but my confirmation hasn't come through. Has my transfer been booked? If you have completed your booking but have not received your booking confirmation just contact the REAL Transfers team on 0208 240 4456 or by email on info@realtransfers.co.uk. Alternatively, if you have created an account you can manage your bookings by going onto “My Account".

• Do you cater for those in wheelchairs? Although we don't have vehicles with wheelchair access if at the time of booking you could let us know what type of wheelchair you have we will always endeavour to assist. This includes ensuring we are able to arrange the appropriate size of vehicle to make certain that your journey is as comfortable as possible.

• My booking requirements have changed, how do I let you know? Just call 0208 240 4456 and speak to a member of our team or drop us an email at info@realtransfers.co.uk and we will discuss the changes needed and make the amendments if possible.

• If I want to cancel my booking, will I get a refund? If you need to cancel your booking, let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel with more than 24 hours to go before your transfer, there will be no charge. For charges relating to cancellations within 24 hours, please see our Terms. If you have prepaid your journey by card, there will be a £5 admin fee for all refunds.

• I forgot some of my belongings in your car; how do I get them back? If you realise you have left something in the vehicle, please contact us on 0208 240 4456 or info@realtransfers.co.uk. Our drivers check their vehicles at the end of every journey to ensure that any items are found as soon as possible. If our driver finds something before you have realised, we will contact you immediately and arrange to get them back to you. We will hold lost property for 28 days.
